The folks we talk to in Nampa have a similar thought.
There’s so much potential here. So, so, so much potential. Now if there were just some way to come together and make something happen… (attend an event)
We came to Nampa for the great housing prices, the family atmosphere, and the straight-up genuine people.
But we stayed for the unmatchable vibe, the buzz of excitement when you realize: we can make this town into a place we love to live in.
In Boise and Meridian, you can’t have much of an impact. The cement is pretty well dry on that one.
But Nampa/Caldwell is a land of possibility. Or as my friend Mike put it, “Nampa’s dream town, baby!”
The Go Nampa Story. Or, How to Avoid the Drive to Boise
Mike and Aaron are friends, they went to NNU together, and recently moved back to Nampa to settle down with their ladies.
After spending some time renovating their old homes near downtown Nampa, they were impressed with how downtown Nampa has progressed. They share a loveof Messenger Pizza, Brick 29, Rolling H Cycles, and the Flying M Coffee Garage.
But they wondered… “why do our friends go to Meridian or Boise for food and fun when Nampa is the second largest city in Idaho? There has to be more to Nampa than meets the eye!”
So they went on a mission to discover the hidden gems of Nampa, met some awesome fellow “Nampaites” who shared the same goal, and then an idea struck them.
“Why don’t we make it easier to find cool people, fun places to hang out, and good things for people to do right here in our own backyards?”
“Boise schmoise. Let’s go Nampa!”
And so Go! Nampa was born.
Mike and Aaron immediately set out to forge some new relationships in the Nampa community and started building this website to connect other people inside it.
